Gate valve is shut off valve which serves as complete closing element of medium flow. S 42 (C 42) can be used for water, nonagressive liquids, steams, gases and mediums uses in energy and chemical industry. The body, yoke and wedge are from forged material. This type has pressure sealing bonnet. It cannot be used for regulation of flow.
